The Saar and the Neckar, Locks, part 2

These are 2 locks on the River Saar.

The Saar and the Neckar : Locks part 1

Hi Everyone,
Hallo Iedereen,

 While traveling, I like to shoot different topics. those enormous locks from the river Saar or the river Neckar for example. It takes a while for a ship to cross them, so it gave me enough time to shoot a few pics.

Tijdens reizen fotografeer ik graag verschillende onderwerpen; de gigantische sluizen van de Saar of Neckar bijvoorbeeld.

This is a lock on the River Neckar.

Navigating towards the lock.

Entering the lock.

Precision work, not much room left on either side of the ship.

Water is coming into the lock

It's quite a spectacle

Almost there

Water is at the right level ...

And the ship continues its journey.
